In order to be eligible to win a prize, your team and project must follow all of the guidelines of UVMHacks:

Group Requirements:
All groups must have 2-4 computer science (hacking equivelent) and 1-2 business (ideating, project manager equivelent) teammates. -
Attendance Requirement:
All participants must be present for the entire duration of the hackathon, including their team’s final presentation. -
Registration and Agreement:
Participants must complete registration prior to the event and agree to the event's terms and conditions. -
Use of AI Tools:
While we encourage the use of language models like ChatGPT for generating test cases, participants should refrain from using them for any other coding or development tasks. -
Code and Hardware Restrictions:
Teams are not permitted to use pre-existing code, hardware, or solutions. All work must be developed from scratch during the hackathon. -
Submission Deadline:
All final project submissions must be made before the deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances. -
Code of Conduct:
Be respectful and professional in all interactions with fellow participants, mentors, and judges. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of harmful behavior will not be tolerated. -
Third-Party Content:
Any third-party content (e.x: images, music, software) used in a team’s project must be properly cited and credited.
